Great morning of rugby at Shelford on Sunday.
Coaches left with smiles on their old faces because many of the messages we've been trying to get the boys to listen to seemed to have gone into one ear and stayed there!
Boys smiling because all of them made great contributions to an 11 tries to 7 win.

Buckets of hard work, tackling and ball carrying done in the middle of the pitch by Saul, Leo and Ruari with Arran, Nicky and Howard keeping the engine room moving forward.

Lovely to see both the problems they made for Shelford but also the plays, structure and go-forward they gave Hitchin with the Jack, Seb and Eoin combo in the middle.

Bobby and Eshaan popping up everywhere and keeping our ball moving meant that when we had the ball we were able to keep going forward freely, and Lucian injecting lots of speed up the middle of the pitch that kept the opposition guessing.

Plenty of afterburners-on and scoring from Cade, Thomas and Ben-E – really encouraging to see the ball moved and used so well.

Friendly opposition and nice food to top it all off.
