U11/U12 County Rugby Festival 2025
The Tournament
The tournament structure will follow the Rules of Play as per England Rugby Rules and regulations: Regulations (englandrugby.com)
The County Festival for U11s and U12s is a Festival of Rugby and will consist of pool/group matches but no knock-out phases. Match scores will not be recorded.
Squad Sizes and Mixed Ability
U12s playing team size is 12 players (total squad of up to 18 players including subs)
All teams must be of mixed ability and must not be streamed. All registered players are to be invited to take part – clubs are not to omit any players from taking part based on ability. If the organisers feel that clubs have streamed their teams, then they retain the right to remove them from the festival.
All players must be registered with the RFU in order to play in the festival for insurance purposes. All players must play in the appropriate age group for their birth date.
Start Times
All pools are expected to start at 10.00 am prompt and finish by 13.30.
