Ruby put in some amazing tackles, lead the tackle count. Stan carried well and tackled like a trooper going head to head with LGC’s big man. Albie carried well and good cover tackles. Ben great in the rucks and tackling hard and low. Arran amazing run great kick and chase recovering the ball by driving on it to set up another attack. Seb marshalling the game well leading the defence and attack playing like a 10. Bobby great strength to stay away from the touch line with four players trying to force him into touch laid the ball back quick pass resulting in try nr 4 . Eoin leading the team as captained demonstrated great leadership, speaking to the ref in a balanced and well mannered way and of course unleashing the tackle machine when we needed it most. Ciaran great stepping keeping the defence guesting , great cover tackles against bigger opposition. Luca really stepping up and huge hits on the big man, great carrying leading to two try’s, listened to Jason at half time and changing the attack resulted in a game changer. Zac loads of encouragement and positive play and loads of running and not a step back. Frank really growing into the scrum half role, great distribution into the hands of the running and try saving tackles. Way too close to call person of the match award. Proper rugby, loads of smiles

Hogs had their own 'big man' to deal with in the letchworth team - he got the better of the Hogs a few times due to some limp tackling but lots of learning from that hopefully and a testament to the team that this player did not dominate the game.

Otherwise Hogs played some really good rugby - ball moved really nicely in some phases, rucking was good, ball was kept alive generally and some really good running with the ball and supporting running from everyone.

Lots of work-rate on show from everyone and really put the 'E' into Effort and finished with smiles.
