Despite lots of the things we've been practicing the last 2 weeks going right out the window at the first kick-off Hitchin u11 showed really good performances all round against what is generally one of the strongest clubs in the county.

Really good rugby from the boys today, lots to work on but a performance today from the U11 to be rightly pleased with.

thank you to the parents that made the player-rotation work today and also for sorting the hotdogs at the end.

Also well done to the players for not saying anything too outgrageous to the RFU President also!

Rhinos played very well today. Started looking at their options when taking the ball forwards, when to pass, make a dash or go to ground. Seb and Henry made some effective kicking decisions which payed off. Luca made some incredible runs and upped our number of tries. We got stuck in with the rucks, but I think OA’s still had the better in getting lower and plucking the ball out quicker. Sterling effort in coming back stronger when EA’s had moments of dominance. They could have easily gotten disheartened at times but bounced back harder

Bulls played really well in the first game despite being under pressure for most of it, lots of players out of breath really putting in the effort. OA’s just better a getting the ball wide quicker. Best bit about today all the boys enjoyed it and had fun
