Well Done to the Amazing Hitchin Girls on their seasons success as part of the Herts County squad, the squad was unbeaten all season with only 5 points scores against them and well over 150 on the board, demonstrating the overwhelming capability of the squad against tough opposition from around the country. These girls have been part of this pathway for 4 years now and their team and individual skill levels has increased year on year as a result of their focus and the excellent coaching team. The Herts Coaching team, including our very own Director of Female Rugby 'Lofty' as Head Coach also benefits from regular support from Saracens International Players. Now coming to the end of their 'Age Grade' rugby careers, look out for them on them on the adult teams sheets (Most have already 'played up'). Many of the squad leave the area as they pursue education and will no doubt appear in on team sheets under different strips soon - returning of course to play for Hitchin during the Holidays. The remaining are staying and studying locally, graduating to the womens squad and already have their sights set on the Womens County team. Watch their last match on this link.
