Well done to all the Hitchin Colts, who won both their County Cup semi finals on Sunday. Two tough games played simultaneously saw our 1st team beat Barnet A and our 2nd team win against Fullerians B.

This was a just reward for a squad that has shown great teamwork and discipline all season. The squad have often struggled to get both teams out due to injury however we had enough players to make this happen on Mother's day and the dividends were there for all to see.
The Barnet match saw plenty of tries and our 1st team had a comfortable margin of victory. The 2nd team game was a tighter affair, 3 tries per side with Hitchin winning with a 4 point cushion. The boys were magnanimous in victory and played throughout with a smile.

Looking ahead we see the Colts starting to play for the Men's team in the weeks ahead, a tour to Bristol and then the finals at Hertford RFC on 27th April. Another 'Super Sunday' to look forward too!
