Pitch 4 is finally becoming a reality after the sockets for the new posts were set in concrete today.
A huge thanks to Adam Pike (U8 dad) and Pete Ward (U12 dad) for their invaluable contribution in diggers, skills, and not minding getting splattered in concrete. Pitch 4 really wouldn't have happened without them. If you see these men in the bar looking thirsty, then please buy them a drink.
Thank you also to the parents who showed up with the expectation for barrowing concrete, only to watch as the lorry delivered it straight into the holes. Probably a less strenuous outcome.
To have a 4th pitch will be a great asset to HRC, even more so while Pitch 2 is unusable.
