The Youth Girls End of Season Awards saw players formally graduate into the Women’s section. This year, the occasion was marked by Hayley Everett and Lucy Kennedy presenting the players with their new training tops. Some have already stepped out in senior teams as part of the pathway developed by both squads under Lofty’s leadership. We look forward to seeing them represent Hitchin for years to come.
Additionally, it was time to present this year’s caps, awarded to players who have competed from U13 level throughout every year in Youth Girls — an amazing achievement. Cap numbers 27 to 30 were presented by Lofty, alongside Mark S, U18 Girls Head Coach.
For those with a keen eye for detail, you may spot Saracens player Tori Sellors, who was the guest speaker for this fantastic evening.
